In 1946 Jack Tarnow and John Oster began a business relationship that continues to grow. For over 55 years J. Tarnow Co. has represented manufacturers of fine professional barber and beauty supplies and animal grooming equipment in Canada. Product lines include hairclippers and accessories from the Oster Company and the Andis Company, barber poles and disinfectant systems from The William Marvy Co., Economy shears, Campbell hot lather machines, and much more. We provide a full service environment including repairs, clipper blade and shear sharpening and warranty for all products sold. In 1996 J. Tarnow Co. acquired its own building and moved to our current location near the junction of the 401 Highway and the Allen Road. With 27 years of involvement in the hairclipper business, Jack's son Elliot now heads the company and is overseeing our next step - a future with online Internet access across the globe.
